Addressing Challenges in Continuous Ginger Farming on Incompatible Lands
Difficulties: Ginger farming land must remain fallow for 6 years
Rhizome crops like ginseng and ginger cannot be cultivated continuously on the same land. Continuous ginger cultivation leads to issues such as rhizome rot, root-knot nematode disease, gray mold rot, and ginger bacterial wilt, all of which reduce yield. Consequently, the land must lie fallow for 5 to 6 years after harvesting to allow soil nutrients to replenish.
Earth Foods Challenges in Treating Ginger Cultivation Lands

01
Continuous Cultivation
Enable the land to be used for continuous farming without requiring a fallow period after harvest.

02
Toxic-Free
Ensure that no chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or fungicides are used in the cultivation process.

03
Enhanced Nutrition
Increase active organic substances and improve the medicinal efficacy of ginger.

Treatment Results
Over the treatment period, we successfully cultivated ginger continuously on the same land, marking a significant breakthrough in ginger farming. This achievement demonstrates that the land can now be used for uninterrupted cultivation. The quality of the ginger has improved, with enhanced spiciness, better warming effects, and higher medicinal values. The nutritional testing has shown that ginger cultivated with our EF system has nutritional values 3 to 5 times higher than conventional ginger, with notable improvements in its medicinal properties as well.
